Our Doctors
Dr Murtaza Ahmed
BMBS, BMedSci, MSc (Sports Medicine), MRCP (UK), FRACGP
C&B Solutions Pty Ltd provide to Your Family Practice the services of independent contractor, Dr Murtaza Ahmed.
Originally from England, Dr Murtaza Ahmed began practicing medicine in Australia in 2008. He trained at the prestigious University of Nottingham and gained experience in several hospitals including The Queen’s Medical Centre. Before turning to General Practice, Dr Ahmed worked and trained in several disciplines in medicine including Physician Training, Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians London.
Dr Ahmed gained his Fellowship of The Royal College of General Practice in 2015 and was awarded the Tony Buhagiar Medal for achieving the top Fellowship exam mark in NSW. He specialises in chronic disease, diabetes, weight management and has an interest in skin cancer medicine.
Dr Fu Wen Chong

Fu Wen Chong Pty Ltd provide to Your Family Practice the services of independent contractor, Dr Fu Wen Chong.
Dr Fu Wen Chong completed his medical training in the Sunshine State of Queensland but soon relocated to the Mid North Coast region in 2015 after falling in love with its natural beauty and people. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2018.
Dr Chong has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and has undertaken additional training in this area. He also possesses a wealth of experience in emergency medicine, having obtained his Certificate in Emergency Medicine, and applies this knowledge to his everyday practice.
Dr Camellia Chooi
MBBS, FRACGP
CC Medical Pty Ltd provide to Your Family Practice the services of independent contractor, Dr Camellia Chooi.
Dr Camellia Chooi has been practicing as a GP in Laurieton since 2015 after relocating from Queensland. She has fallen in love with the beauty of the Mid North Coast region and aims to provide health care to the region for a long time to come. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2017 and has been building a wealth of experience since.
Dr Chooi prides herself on her excellent delivery of patient care and has special interests in Women’s Health and Mental Health, both areas in which she has gained additional training and qualifications. She is also currently undertaking a Diploma in aesthetic/cosmetic medicine.
Dr Craig Barry
MBBS, FRACGP, FARGP, Dip Child Health, ARST Anaesthetics
Barry Trees Pty Ltd provide to Your Family Practice the services of independent contractor, Dr Craig Barry.
Dr Craig Barry has worked in the area since 2013. He is an experienced Rural General Practitioner, completing the FARGP fellowship with Advanced Rural Skills in Anaesthetics. Dr Barry has a keen interest in clinical education, and leads our Clinical Training for future GP Registrars and medical students.
In his spare time, Dr Barry enjoys time with his family, extreme physical challenges and his garden. Dr Barry is a very respected GP with vast experience in chronic medical conditions, childhood diabetes and geriatric medicine.

Your Family Practice is a training practice and currently has Dr Lin Tin Aung and Dr Calvin Mok.
Our Nurses
Amanda – Hayley
Amanda heads YFP’s nursing staff, and is a highly experienced and respected Registered Nurse having worked in General Practice in the mid-north coast for some 10+ years.
Our Administration
Deidre heads our Administrative Team with Melissa in the role of Assistant Practice Manager
responsible for the day to day operations of our administrative staff who assist Doctors and
patients to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
