Dr Craig Barry

Dr Barry is an experienced General Practitioner. He has worked in the Camden Haven area for over four years, having moved to the region with his family in 2011.

Dr Barry has achieved a Fellowship in General Practice, Advanced Rural General Practice with Anaesthetics. Dr Barry holds qualifications in Child Health, Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Surgery, and Therapeutics.

Dr Barry is a Supervisor to GP Registrars (Doctors Training in General Practice).

Dr Murt Ahmed

Originally from Nottingham, England; Dr Ahmed completed his training in England and undertook his Internship at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre then moved to Australia.

After gaining a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and much experience in Emergency Medicine, Dr Ahmed turned his focus to General Practice, specialising in Skin Cancers, Diabetes, Chronic Disease and Weight Management.

An awardee of the Tony Buhagiar Medal for achieving the top Fellowship mark in NSW, Dr Ahmed has been practicing Medicine in Laurieton for over two and a half years.

Dr Camellia Chooi

Dr Chooi came to us in 2015 as a second term General Practice Registrar. In 2017 Dr Chooi gained her Fellowship into General Practice and has decided to continue practicing with us. Dr Chooi’s dedicated patients and our Practice are very happy she has made this decision.

Dr Chooi’s special interests include Women’s Health, Mental Health and forming relationships with the “whole family” as a reliable and approachable General Practitioner.

We are honoured that Dr Chooi continues with our “Family” here at Your Family Practice.

Dr Anshul Desmhukh

Dr Desmhukh came to the Camden Haven area in 2018, where she has finalised her training into general practice and has decided to continue with us permanently.

Dr Desmhukh’s special interests include all aspects of women’s health, into which this introduces bringing new services and procedures not readily available in the Camden Haven area. The practice and community appreciate her knowledge and assistance given to all our patients and she is proving to be very popular among them.

Dr Desmhukh also has an extensive knowledge of paediatrics (child health) and is enjoying assisting in all aspects of family health.

Dr Mark Loman

We are very honoured that Mark Loman joins us in November 20-17 in his final stages of training to become a specialist General Practitioner. Dr Loman has extensive experience in Australia, America and United Kingdom working as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Orthopaedic Registrar.

Searching for quality of life in both his professional and personal life, Dr Loman is finalising his studies to become a General Practitioner. Special areas of interest include musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, trauma circumstances and wound care.

RN Amanda

Our experienced Registered Nurse, Amanda has had an extensive career at Westmead Hospital and in General Practice.

Amanda is highly qualified in Women’s Health, Surgical Procedures, Wound Care & Management and Immunisations.

EN Kylie

Kylie has extensive experience in Aged Care and generally in General Practice.

As our Enrolled Nurse, Kylie is especially interested in Wound Care and Health Care for people over the age of 75.


Practice Manager – Deidre

Deidre has quite extensive experience in the management of General Practice.

Deidre has worked in this field for more than 10 years and has been responsible for the set up of two completely new practices in this area as well as previously overseeing the efficient day to day running of two other practices.

Deidre has a wealth of knowledge that soon has any practice in her charge ‘running like clockwork’.

Deidre brings more than 25 years experience in the field of management and has a history of ruthlessly insisting on correct procedure while also attending to the well-being of the staff under her care.

Reception – Kim

As a Camden Haven resident since the late 1990s, Kim has also worked in the area for most of those years.

Kim brings to Your Family Practice a strong focus on customer service. During the previous years, Kim had worked tirelessly in the community nursing homes, building great relationships with Camden Haven’s more elderly residents.

Kim’s nurturing nature and level of care have made her very popular with all age patients. Kim sets a great example for other members of our Reception Team.

Reception – Tracey

Tracey is a keen member of the Camden Haven Community. Tracey has worked in General Practice for many years, although mostly outside of the Camden Haven. Tracey is quite pleased to be able to work closer to home and to serve her own community.

Tracey’s many years of experience make Tracey a valued member of the Reception Team. Also, Tracey’s kindness-to-others attitude is well received by her co-workers and the General Practice patient community as a whole. Tracey is a valued member of the Reception Team.

Reception – Jade

While being less experienced in the Medical Administration field, Jade came to Your Family Practice with a knowledge of general reception skills from her previous years in various administration positions for businesses within the Camden Haven area.

Jade possesses the ability to learn all placed before her and a willing attitude to grow into a well trained Medical Receptionist who would be welcomed by any General Practice Management Team.
